Connecting water supply

The dishwasher itself works well, but the installation design was disappointing. The water supply connection on the dishwasher side is made of plastic, which makes it very easy to over-tighten and potentially damage during installation. A metal fitting would have been a much better and more durable choice. This design made the installation unnecessarily stressful, especially in a tight space where you cannot clearly see the connection while tightening it. If the plastic fitting breaks, replacement looks like it would be difficult and costly. For a premium dishwasher, Bosch should really reconsider this part of the design.

This is the worst dishwasher I have ever owned. Yes, it is awesomely quiet, but it cleans horribly. I can't believe how bad it is. This is my first Bosch and will be my last. It is less than a year old but I'm going to replace it as it's a total waste of space. I've tried all their cleaning suggestions but still have dirty dishes. I even prerinse but the glasses come out filmy and the flatware spotty. I'll go back to KitchenAide. Not as quiet but provides exceptional cleaning. This is a huge disappointment..

Not impressed with Bosch. Leaked when first connected. Service guy replaced a couple plastic pieces, but still leaked. His repair was to pinch down on the water supply valve! While it was no longer leaking I am very doubtful that this is a long term solution. I would rather get a replacement than continue with this one. I will not buy another Bosch product in the future

One month in

I purchased this dishwasher a month ago after having a standard (i.e. not $1500) dishwasher for the 12 years I've lived in my home (and it was probably here a few years before that). This thing is already broken. I've tried all the remedies for the error code it's giving me and spent an hour on the phone with Bosch customer service only to be told there's nothing to do and I have to wait a week for a service appointment. For a dishwasher that cost me $2000 with all the parts and everything. That I bought ONE MONTH ago. We run our dishwasher twice a day most days as a family of five. If I wanted to manually wash all these dishes, I wouldn't have spent all the time and money to go in and buy this thing, after being told it's one of the best dishwashers you can buy, people never report issues, etc. Don't spend this type of money - from my experience it's no better (in fact, probably worse) than the dishwashers you can buy for a couple hundred bucks from the big box stores.

We bought a new home in Florida and it came with a junky dishwasher (LOUD and barely cleaned). We got the Bosch 500 series and it rocked. We moved to a resale home in Virginia - dishwasher was quiet but we had multiple rejects per load; and the wheels were falling off and the set up of the racks was odd at best. So, we invested in the Bosch 800. This is top of the line at a reasonable price. Super quiet, dishes come out dry and clean, no rejects, rack design is perfect for our family. I even saw the Consumer Reports agrees with my take - top rated and reasonably priced. Buy the Bosch!

Love the my newer Bosch dishwasher, however a little harder to clean the all the parts to make sure nothing gets caught in the drain. There is not a clear direction on how to snap out the second part of the strainer drain to make sure all clear. Had for only 6 months and clogged. Had my last Bosch dishwasher over 25 years and only 2 times needed to really clean the drain catcher. Was advise on the newer one to clean monthly. Only reason I got rid of my last Bosch was racks were breaking down.

Second good Bosch Experience

We had a Bosch dishwasher in an condo we rented and it was one of the best dishwashers I have had. Quiet and cleaned well. So when we bought our place, I put this one in, and I am favorably impressed. It is as good as the older Bosch I experienced with some more modern features and even quieter.

Overall the dishwasher works well. I am a bit disappointed with the dry cycle. I like to use the 60 minute cleaning cycle but the dry function does not work on that cycle. I also thought the dishwasher pops open after the cycle is done but that is not the case. When we do use the dry feature, the dishers are mainly dry but the inside of the dishwasher remains wet.

It's okay. Bit of a learnig curve to get used to it. We bought a whole suite of Bosch appliances at the same time. The stove and refrigerator we do not like. We are extremely diappointed with them. I would not reccomend to anyone!

Very quie as advertise. Does not dry the dishes at all, even in the "Crystal Dry" mode. All these promises of dry tapaware and dishes are not true. Over all does not worth the price. Get something else.

We are loving our new Bosch dishwasher! The sleek, stylish look fits perfectly in our kitchen, and the quiet operation was one of the biggest selling points for us since we have an open floor plan. You can barely even tell it's running! We also love the adjustable tilt rack - it makes fitting larger items so much easier. We're still experimenting with the different settings to find our favorites, but so far we couldn't be happier with it!

This machine is awesome. When the biggest complaint you have is "is it running??", you know they hit the mark on quiet operation. Cleaning is great, and the racks are flexible and ample for whatever you need to wash. Get one soon!

This is my second Bosch and it is nice and quiet which is why I chose it. I like the simple front design and the little light that shows it is running is helpful and easy to see when I do a quick check to see if the washer is done.

New dishwasher cleans well! Love love the top rack( I didn't think I would). Great for utensils. Very quiet. Only issue is there is not a quick time delay on the machine itself. You have to jump through hoops on the App which is a bit confusing.
