I have this stove and it will be a year old in November, it has white spots on it that do not come off I even got the cleaner and they do not come off. My last glass top was GE also and never had a problem.

Buyer Beware. The cooktop is very difficult to clean, even following their recommendations. When the oven is in use, the entire cook top, control panel, even the front trim around the oven handle gets hot. So much wasted energy. I wish there were lights indicating which burner was hot as opposed to one red "hot" word that doesn't identify which burner is hot. The oven does preheat quickly and the airfry from frozen is nice. I like the various sizes of burners and the warmer burner feature. However to set an oven time delay you have to install an app and do it from your phone. I have yet to figure it out. Be very aware of what features are important to you and do more research.

3rd range from GE Profile bought and delivered from Costco. The oven failed on two of the Three units and the last one two burners and no oven. GE left us like this for a month neither offered not only an apology and zero compensation. Repairman from GE came out once agreed this was mass production junk made specifically for Costco customers.

I am happy with my new stove it works great has great, helpful, features i.e. it has a hidden lower element with removable pan that makes clean up so much easier, the convection and air fry work greath, the oven light comes on when the oven door is opened.

So far it works well however I am disappointed that after the very first time using the range, the top has a stain that will not come out. Boiling water that spilled over has left what seems to be a permanent large mark and stain. If I had known this to be the case, I would not have purchased.

The range is great with the hidden element, removable pan at the bottom, air fry works great and have to familiarize myself with convection cooking to try it. It did not get a manual with it, so had to download off the internet. Easy to clean and use controls and good capacity for my use. I owned my previous GE Profile range for almost 23 years without any issues with the smooth cooktop. I am using the same cookware, and already there are noticeable damage marks on cooktop. It is not as well made as the previous one. I am very disappointed and plan on contacting GE about it.

I purchased a GE Profile electric range PRF700AYFS from Costco. The range arrived on time and safely without damage. Everything on the stove worked as intended. The only problem that I encountered was with the drawer. It is CHEAPLY made; flimsy, hard to pull open when filled with pots and pans, and shallow. My 12™ x 17™ roasting pan does not fit in the drawer as it did in my last range because the drawer is too shallow. If I turn the pan then it will fit, but there is no room around it for other larger items. This drawer is the Achillies Heel of this range. Another problem is with the clock/timer/temperature single display. There is no way to switch between the clock, timer, and temperature when the oven is being used. Turn on the oven and the temperature appears, and the clock disappears. Turn on the timer and the temperature disappears. Either allow switching what shows on the display, or put 2 displays on the panel. The installation by Costco was not as expected. The installer did not raise the range to counter height, or level it. I had to do that part. The range does not come with a power cord because there are 3-prone and 4-prong cords; so, the installer had to attach the correct cord. Unfortunately, the installer did not attach a critical piece that would keep the cord from being cut and shorting the circuit. In order to pass the electrical code, a wire clamp must be inserted around the electric cord before feeding it through metal hole in the back of the range. This clamp will keep the cord from being cut by the sharp metal edge of the hole when moving the range for repairs. Also, the clamp will also keep the cord and plastic connection block from being pulled and damaged. I had to install the clamp myself. For safety reasons, Costco needs to send an electrician to every home that has had a range installed to make sure the wire clamp was actually attached on the back of the range. GE should have installed a 1™ clamp in the hole when the range was manufactured.

This range is a great option for anyone looking to upgrade their stove with modern functions. There are 5 burners, including 2 with power boil settings to heat very quickly. It can be connected to WiFi and even includes a no preheat air fry option. Some of the smaller features are actually my favorite aspects of this range for the practical benefits. The interior of the oven has a removable drip tray to make cleaning easier. The bottom of the oven is a very spacious pull out drawer for storage.
